Session 1: Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine

Nanotechnology is an area of science, engineering and technology that operates in a scale of 1-100 nanometres. Nanotechnology deals with materials and systems whose structures and components have innovative and significant characteristics improved physical, chemical and biological properties, processes and phenomena due to their Nano scale size. It is the study and application of extremely small things that can be included to all science subjects and engineering.

It shows high efficiency in destroying cancer cells. Nano medicines also include Nano adjuvants with immune modulatory properties used to deliver vaccine antigens, Nano-knife, an almost non-invasive method of destroying cancer cells with high voltage electricity and carbon nanotubes, which they already a popular way to repair damaged tissue and could be used to regenerate nerves in the future.

Session 2: Nano Materials

Nano materials are those materials with at least either outer extent or internal shape should be 100 nanometres or less. Nanomaterials are used in nanotechnology as to make the materials stronger and yet lighter. Nano materials such as silver and gold nanoparticle are of interest because at this scale unique optical, magnetic, electrical, and other properties emerge.

Session 3: Nanotechnology in Food and Agriculture

Nanotechnology has also evolved in food and agriculture sectors, by invention of smart packaging to reduce food contamination and wastage of food, Nano- remediation of wastewater for land irrigation, Nano sensors, Nano pesticides and Nano fertilisers. Nano materials have been developed for improving food quality and safety, crop growth and to monitor environmental conditions. Low toxic materials and high performance need to be addressed for the development of nanotechnology. Nanotechnology implementation in agriculture offers genetic materials for enhanced soil fertility and protection, along with improved traits for better stress tolerance.

Session 4: Nano Robotics

The advancement of molecular nanotechnology will again expand enormously the effectiveness, comfort and speed of future medical treatments simultaneously reduces the risk, cost and invasiveness. MNT will allow doctors to perform in vivo surgery on individual human cells. Nano robotics is a technology field which creates machines or robots at a scale of a nanometre (50-100nm wide). Drug delivery can be done effectively by Nano robots. The idea behind the Nano robots is that when a patient takes a pill to treat any disease, on behalf of chemicals present inside the pill, the actual working machine Nano robots are placed. It specifically targets the particular cancerous cells and delivers the drugs to only those cells.

Session 5: Green Nanotechnology and Water Treatment

Green nanotechnology uses the existing principles of green chemistry and green engineering to produce nanoparticles and nanomaterial without toxic ingredients, possible of using low energy and renewable inputs at low temperatures. It has two major goals: one is to produce nanomaterial without harming environment and human health, another one is producing Nano products that provide solutions to environmental problems.

Session 6: Nanotechnology in Tissue Engineering

It is part of nanotechnology which helps to replace the damaged tissue by using suitable nanomaterial based scaffolds and growing factors. Organ transplants and artificial implants are successfully treated using tissue engineering. A suspension of gold coated Nano shells activated by an infrared laser, used to weld arteries during surgery.

Nanofibers are light weight with small diameters, controllable pore structures and high surface to volume ratio, making for ideal use in tissue engineering. At present, there are three techniques for the synthesis of nanofibers: electro spinning, self-assembly and phase separation. Of these, electro spinning is the most studied technique and provides most promising results in terms of tissue engineering.

Session 7: Nanophysics

Nanophysics could be a substitute innovation wherever Nanoscience is used in industry of textile science to form Nano scale physical machines or tools. This session focuses on the design, fabrication and control of material and components on the Nano scale. It determines the physical properties of the materials in the Nano scale size range. It deals with the physical structures and artefacts with dimensions in the Nano range.

Session 8: Nanobiotechnology

Nanobiotechnology can be an emerging field which is a combined stream of biotechnology and nanotechnology. It is a discipline in which nanotechnological tools are developed and applied to take stock of biological phenomena. Nanoparticles can function as probes, sensors, or vehicles for biomolecule delivery systems, peptides, nanosheets, beam sensors and application of nanophotonics for the manipulation of molecular systems of biological cells mentioned above are some of the applications of nanobiotechnology.

Session 9: Nanotoxicology

Nanotoxicology is defined as the branch of toxicology that deals with the study of the toxicity of nanomaterials; Nanotoxicological studies should clarify whether and to what extent these properties can pose a risk to the environment and humans and natural process

Session 10: Molecular Nanotechnology

Through mechanosynthesis process, molecular nanotechnology used to design molecular nanotechnology. Molecular devices which are used in nanotechnology, those are functional materials which are structurally precise down to the molecular level. A machine that can build a desired structure or device atom by utilising the principle of mechanically guided chemical systems.

Session 11: Nanoengineering

Nanoengineering is the application of technology on the nanoscale, nanomaterials have a relatively large surface area compared to material of the same mass in a larger amount. The technological application of nanoscience to build an ultra-small structure called nanoengineering will build nanotechnology.

Session 12: Applications of Nanotechnology in Corona Virus Diagnosis & Treatment

The best solution to overcoming this pandemic is to develop suitable and effective vaccines and therapies. Fortunately, for SARSCoV2, the genome sequence and protein structure were published in a short period of time, which makes research and development for prevention and treatment relatively easy. Intranasal drug administration has proven to be an effective delivery method for the treatment of viral lung diseases.

Session 13: Nanoparticle Based Drug Delivery

Nanoparticle drug delivery systems are engineered technologies that use nanoparticles for the targeted drug delivery and controlled release of therapeutic agents. The modern form of a drug delivery system should have side effects and reduces both dosage and dosage frequency.

Session 14: Carbon Nanotubes

Carbon nanotubes are the long, thin cylinders and large molecules that are unique for their shapes, size and remarkable physical properties and chemical properties. They can be thought of as a sheet of graphite rolled into a cylinder. These intriguing structures have the sparked excitement in recent years and also a large amount of research has been dedicated to their understandings. Carbon nanotubes are less than the 100 nanometres in diameter and can be as thin as 1 or 2 nm. They open an incredible range of applications in material science, electronics, chemical processing, energy management and many other fields of engineering.
